1. Introduction
This Cookie notice explains how the Q-PLANET website (q-planet.eu) uses cookies and similar technologies, what categories of cookies we use, and how you can manage your preferences. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
Last updated: 13 August 2026.
2. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the site owner.
3. How we use cookies
We use cookies to ensure smooth navigation and enable essential site functions. Some cookies are strictly necessary for the website to work; others are only activated with your consent, to help us understand how the site is used and to improve your experience.
When you first visit our website, a cookie banner lets you accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or customise your preferences by category.
4. Categories of cookies we use
Necessary cookies
Necessary cookies enable essential site features, such as secure browsing and remembering your consent preferences. They are stored in your browser because they are essential for basic site functionality and do not require your consent under the GDPR.
Functional cookies
Functional cookies support features such as content sharing on social media, collecting feedback, and enabling third-party tools. These are only activated with your consent.
Analytical cookies
Analytical cookies track visitor interactions and provide insights on metrics such as visitor count, bounce rate and traffic sources, helping us understand how the website is used. These are only activated with your consent.
Advertisement cookies
Advertisement cookies would be used to deliver personalised ads and analyse the effectiveness of ad campaigns. Q-PLANET does not currently run advertising campaigns; this category is included in our cookie banner for completeness and remains inactive unless we introduce such activity in the future.
5. Managing your cookie preferences
You can choose which cookies to allow at any time. Click “Customize” in the cookie banner to enable or disable cookies by category, “Accept All” to consent to all categories, or “Reject All” to decline non-essential cookies. You can also change your preferences at any time by clearing your browser’s cookies for this site, or through your browser’s own cookie settings.
Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the website.
6. Third-party cookies
Some cookies may be set by third-party services embedded on our website, for example to display content or measure site usage. We do not control these cookies directly; please refer to the relevant third party’s own cookie or privacy policy for further information.
7. How long cookies are stored
Cookies are stored for different lengths of time depending on their purpose. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period, or until you delete them, and your consent preferences are typically remembered for up to twelve months, after which you will be asked to confirm them again.
8. Changes to this notice and contact us
We may update this Cookie notice from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in applicable law. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
For any question about this notice or about how we use cookies, please contact: comms@q-planet.eu. For more information about how we handle personal data more generally, please see our Privacy Policy.
